Janet Protasiewicz is a current Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge, who worked as an Assistant District Attorney for 25 years before getting elected judge in 2014. Protasiewicz will be a common sense justice who will take back the court from right-wing partisan extremists and restore integrity to the court. Protasiewicz promises to protect public safety and believes in reproductive freedom. Protasiewicz's opponent is Daniel Kelly, who is endorsed by an extreme right wing group that wants to ban abortion without exception, even when the pregnant person's life is at risk, and who was paid nearly $120,000 by the Republican Party to advise them on election issues including the 2020 scheme to submit fake Donald Trump electors.
