Attorney General Josh Shapiro and State Rep. Austin Davis are the Democratic nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. Through a career in public service, Josh Shapiro took on big fights and delivered results everywhere he served. Davis has been a relentless advocate for his working class district as the son of a bus driver and hairdresser.

As Governor his top priorities would be to ban abortion with no exceptions, drastically cut public school funding, roll back accountability on big corporations and fossil fuel companies, and make it harder for workers to join a union.

We recommend Josh Shapiro and Austin Davis to serve the best interests of Pennsylvania as Governor and Lt. Governor.
 

Chris Deluzio is a Pittsburgh-area native, Iraq War Veteran, and voting rights attorney. He knows that we need bold action to protect and strengthen our democracy and he won’t shy from a fight with those on the radical right who would attack our freedom to vote, our reproductive rights, or our unions. Arvind Venkat’s life has been focused on family, service, and community. As an ER doctor, he believes he has a responsibility not just to individual ER patients but to work to address the health issues facing his entire community. Arvind helped develop innovative community health programs including providing flu vaccinations at the ER, connecting those with opioid use disorders with treatment, and educating clinicians about caring for those on the autism spectrum, and, he is the leader of a Pennsylvania state-wide emergency physicians organization advocating for more affordable and accessible health care, resources to address the opioid crisis, and better mental health services.
